Arcadia Live is offering free tickets with Kulturpass
People experiencing financial hardship have a right to art and culture too. The ‘Kulturpass’ (Culture Pass) makes this possible. This pass gives socially disadvantaged people free admission to numerous cultural institutions, including cinemas, museums and theatres. There are currently 314 cultural partners in Vienna, and Arcadia Live regularly offers free tickets, welcoming ‘Kulturpass’ holders to our concerts.
Launched in 2003 by the Schauspielhaus Wien in cooperation with the Poverty Conference, the ‘Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur’ campaign focuses on the importance and accessibility of art and culture for everyone.
The campaign aims to benefit those unable to participate in cultural life for financial reasons, such as people living below the poverty line. This includes people receiving 'needs-based minimum income support' or minimum pensions, as well as those receiving emergency assistance or refugee status.
The ‘Kulturpass’ is issued by the Poverty Conference network, many charitable aid organisations and support centres, and the social centres of the City of Vienna and AMS Vienna.
